The Victorinox Companion is a three-layer 91mm Swiss Army Knife based on the Climber model, but with a box-opener tool instead of the can-opener tool, and a nail-file instead of the small blade. It was originally introduced as a Swiss Spirit Limited Edition, (see main image right) other variations becoming available over time - See History below.

Name disambiguation:

• This model should not be confused with the retired 74mm Companion and the 58mm Companion models, both of which have the same name.
• Various models were released in 2025, as part of Victorinox's Companion Collection, all having the Companion name plus various suffixes. Check the Companion Collection page for details and clarity.

History and Variations

• The Companion model was introduced in February 2023 as a Swiss Spirit Special Edition. (See main image in top panel). A brand new tool was introduced with this model the box-opener.
• Later in October 2023 three more variations were released as a part of the Live to Explore Collection.
• In July 2025 the Special Companion Damast Limited Edition was released as a part of the Victorinox Damascus Limited Editions Series. The knife has unique Damasteel® Svavner™ pattern large blade and matte white scales with scratch-resistant surface made of Corian®. This model has a small blade instead of a nail file. It also lacks tweezers, a toothpick, and a removeable ballpoint pen. Only 7,000 uniquely numbered pieces worldwide were produced.
• A Companion with red Cellidor plus scales was released in July 2025 as a part of the Companion Collection.
