The German Hoffmann Tool Company commissioned Victorinox to produce two custom 111mm models called the Garant*. The later model has the standard main tool set of the Nomad, both have unique scales and scale tools - See details below.

* Garant' is the Hoffman Group's premium tool brand.

Garant/Hoffman Classic

• Large blade – Liner-locking
• Cap-lifter with a large, locking screwdriver & wire stripper
• Can-opener with a small screwdriver tip

Back Layer Tools

• Awl / Reamer
• Corkscrew with a mini-screwdriver - The mini-screwdriver is not usually provided with 111mm SAKs (WorkChamps only)
  or
• Phillips screwdriver
• Keyring

Scale Tools

• Toothpick

The following scale tool configurations are unusual and unique to the Garant, in the 111mm family:

• Tweezers - with ruler graduations
• Removable pen
• The scales have a pin slot (as per the 91mm scales) - although a pin is not provided

Note: The pen and tweezers are tipped in orange - the Hoffman Group corporate colour.

Scales

The unusual scales are slate grey or blue, with a unique design, and feature Garant branding - but unusually, no Victorinox shield!

History and Variations

There are two variations of this model:

1. The Centurion/Phillips based model with grey scales
2. The Nomad/corkscrew based model with blue scales

The Centurion based model was the initial incarnation, and is no longer available, the Nomad version followed.
The tools are only available to purchase via the Hoffman Group.
Hoffman also produced a Classic with translucent orange scales - See image right.
